Faculty of Logistics, Burapha University Strengthens International Research and Academic Collaboration with Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU), Busan, Republic of Korea.
Assistant Professor Pairoj Raothanachonkun, Dean of the Faculty of Logistics, and Associate Professor Thanyaphat Muangpan, Deputy Dean for Research and Development, the delegation was officially invited by the Maritime Industry Research Institute, Korea Maritime & Ocean University (KMOU) to participate in an academic and research collaboration meeting held from 20–22 July 2026 at KMOU, Busan.
The meeting aims to exchange research expertise, explore mutual research interests, develop collaborative research projects, and discuss the establishment of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the two institutions. The proposed areas of collaboration include:
* Joint research projects
* Student and faculty exchange programs
* Co-publication of research in high-impact international journals
* Joint organization of international conferences, seminars, and academic activities
Receiving this official invitation reflects the confidence that one of the Republic of Korea’s leading maritime and ocean universities has placed in the academic and research capabilities of the Faculty of Logistics, Burapha University. It also represents another significant milestone in expanding the Faculty’s international collaboration network, fostering high-quality research, promoting academic knowledge exchange, and enhancing global engagement for sustainable academic development.
